Saraphina is an internationally acclaimed electric violinist known for blending classical mastery with contemporary sound. She began violin at age three, recorded her first album at twelve, and has since built a dynamic career spanning classical performance, popular music, and global live events.

​

She holds a BA in Violin Performance from the University of Toronto, an ARCT from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and a Master’s degree from York University, where her studies focused on integrating live instrumentation with modern music. A former concerto competition winner and Miss World Canada talent titleholder, Saraphina trained under the late Jacques Israelievitch and studied at the prestigious Chautauqua Institute on full scholarship.

Today, Saraphina performs worldwide at high-profile events, including NBA and luxury brand showcases, and has shared the stage with icons such as Diana Ross, Kendrick Lamar, Usher, and Gwen Stefani. She recently premiered the Saraphina Violin Concerto, written especially for her.

With millions reached through live performances and digital platforms, Saraphina continues to redefine the violin for a global audience.

Saraphina completed her Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto, also majoring in Violin Performance. Having played violin since the age of three and piano since the age of five, Saraphina’s achievements include recording an album at the age of thirteen, attending the prestigious Chautauqua Music Festival in New York four times on full scholarship and winning York University’s concerto competition.

 

Saraphina was the concertmaster of the York University Symphony from September 2009 to May 2011. Playing the violin, she also won an Arts scholarship worth $7,500 by virtue of winning the talent portion at the 2010 Miss World Canada Beauty Pageant. At the age of sixteen, she was featured as the new young artist at the Brantford Sanderson Centre for Performing Arts as a Violinist in a Solo Concert.

 

In 2005 Saraphina received her ARCT diploma in Violin performance, and has reached Grade 8 Piano at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Saraphina has been teaching regularly for the past eighteen years. During the eight-year existence of the Koffler Chamber Orchestra, Saraphina was a first violinist, and she also performed multiple times as a soloist. She was the principal second violinist in the Kindred Spirits Orchestra from 2012-2013.
